MCLS offers discount pricing and technical support for several software packages for member libraries. Software is available to assist libraries of all sizes with cataloging, Interlibrary Loan, managing Internet access, and integrating distributed resources within a single Web interface.

Open URL Link Resolvers

Software tools using Open URL technology enabling users to move from an abstract from one publisher to the full-text documents in another vendor's database, from a bibliography in an article to the library catalog, from one database to another, or from a journal article to a web site.

Resource Sharing

Scan articles, photos, and other documents directly; transmit the electronic images to other Ariel workstations anywhere in the world, using either FTP or e-mail; and convert them to PDF for easy patron delivery.

A software system that allows librarians to manage their database, journal and full-text usage statistics.

An electronic service, often initiated in real-time, where users remotely utilize computers or other Internet technology to communicate with librarians.
