Acquiring usage statistics for MeL databases
Many sites require an administrative username and password to access your library's statistics. If you do not know your username or password, please email meldatabaseshelp@mcls.org.
Chilton's
In regards to the ChiltonLibrary.com usage statistics, they are not shown with the Gale usage statistics report because ChiltonLibrary.com is a third party database. The ChiltonLibrary.com statistics are not automated, but the folks at Gale receive a spreadsheet with the usage every month. They get two versions of the reports. The first one just shows the number of hits to the database. The second shows what make, model, and year was accessed, along with when the information was accessed. If you want to have your ChiltonLibrary.com usage statistics, please contact meldatabaseshelp@mcls.org, and include which report you want, for what months, and we will get that information for you.
